It was a huge honour to nominate with The Rt Hon. the Lord Mayor Alastair King, the larger than life Barry Hearn OBE, for the freedom of the City of London. Barry is an English sports promoter who is founder and president of Matchroom Sport. Through Matchroom, Barry has supported huge numbers of sportsmen and women, in sports including boxing, snooker, darts, pool, tenpin bowling, golf, table tennis and fishing. Congratulations to our youngest Freeman.
