In Slovenia we launched the Patent Mediation and arbitration Centre for Europe.
The launch is not important just for those of us that work with technology and the law, it will have a huge impact globally on how we resolve disputes concerning innovation and that importance was demonstrated by the fact the President of Slovenia:
Nataša Pirc Musar inaugurated us. She is the first woman to hold the office in the country’s history, and she was joined by senior judges and officials from Europe. Recognition of innovation’s importance to all our futures is a rare and welcome moment in international affairs.
