17 years ends tonight in an event marking the close of my chairmanship of the City of London Licensing function. In such a period there are too many people to thank, but I very much appreciate the efforts of each person that has striven to make this City of London a fabulous place to run hospitality businesses! I’m not gone from the world of licensing yet, but it is a new chapter. Thank you Gareth Hughes for your very kind words at my final dinner. I look forward to continued working for the benefit of all who visit London!
