Last night I consider myself very lucky to have had a small part in the ordination ceremony of the new Rector of St. Olave's in the fine Ward of Tower in the City of London.
I think we are very lucky to have Phillip Dawson as Rector of St Olave Hart Street in the City of London. Dedicated to a Viking warrior who became a saint, St Olaves has a place of worship for nearly 1000 years. Samuel Pepys called it "Our Own Church".
Phillip has a fascinating background, supporting schools and the Talking newspaper, he has presented the BBC Daily Service on Radio 4 Extra, and so I look forward to getting to know him more, welcome Phillip Dawson
