Today the Centre for Policy Studies held the 2026 Margaret Thatcher Conference on the theme of Prosperity. MTC26: Prosperity – is a necessary conversation because too many years are low or no growth - we need entrepreneurs, start-ups, scale-ups, and FTSE success stories to deliver higher living standards…in the course of conversations today there is optimism that people have the ideas and drive but we need to work out how to unleash them …we need to give forums to start up thinkers and we need government to listen to concerns on issues as wide ranging as; taxation, economic growth, business, welfare, housing and the environment. Helping people to go international is also a key need …judging by the number of attendees there are many ready to build our future
